This is a trainee under going Hazardous Materials Training in Northern California.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) offer protection from hazardous materials but without training and experience PPE’s can get in the way of the task you are trying to accomplish.

In the video, the trainee’s face mask appears to be foggy, adding to his difficulty.

Similar to a diving suit, training is needed on how to get in and out of a full body suite, the scope and limitations of the suite, and the steps to take to decontaminate the suit after use, both before and after getting out of the suit.
