OSHA 300 Log Recordkeeping – AZ

    Recently, OSHA introduced a new Recordkeeping National Enforcement Program (NEP). This program will involve the inspection of certain industries to determine the accuracy of their recordkeeping practices. Many companies are required to report OSHA incident rates (calculated with data taken from OSHA logs) to their customers as part of the customer’s pre-qualification process.

Colorado & Oregon Labor Law Posters Released

COLORADO Labor Law Posters

The State of Colorado has finalized changes to their Labor Law posters. The current CO minimum wage of $7.28 per hour has been decrease to $7.24 per hour. Tip wage of $4.26 has also decreased to $4.22 due to the decline of the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This becomes effective January 1, 2010. The new updated CO Labor Law Posters are ready to ship.

OREGON Labor Law Posters

The State of Oregon has finished their changes to their Labor Law posters. Changes are to minimum wage, meal deduction and the Oregon Family Leave Act:

Minimum Wage- Content has been added and reworded regarding deductions from wages and meal periods. OR state has removed December 31, 2009 and replaced it with December 31, 2010 on the minimum wage rate.
Oregon Family Leave Act – Military leave information has now been added regarding military and same gender leave, eligibility, total number of days for leave. Both become effective January 1, 2010

At this time, Oregon Labor Law Posters (English-Only) are available for shipping. Oregon (Spanish) Labor Law Posters are expected to release later this month.

Arizona Labor Law Posters Updated

The State of Arizona has finalized changes to their (Anti) Discrimination Poster to bring it in compliance with recent changes mandated by the the Federal EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission). The state has also added “genetic discrimination” as a new protective category.
