OSHA 2015 HazMat

    This course is designed to give participants an overview of OSHA’s General Industry standards and other consensus and proprietary standards that relate to hazardous materials. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: Describe methods for detecting unsafet storage conditions for hazmat; Explain electrical factors that may contribute to the creation or abatement of hazardous conditions; Relate hazardous conditions & unsafe procedures to the appropriate standards for abatement actions; Specify the necessary precautions for hazardous operations, such as the dispensing of flammable & combustible liquids; and Describe proper abatement techniques for selected industrial hazards.
