GBC, OSHA team up on workplace safety

The Albany, N.Y. chapter of the General Building Contractors of New York State is one of seven across the state that has formed an alliance with the U.S. Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration to enhance workplace safety.

Under the alliance, the GBC and OSHA will work together to achieve specific goals related to training and education, outreach and communication, officials announced Friday.
