DELHI, Calif. - A Foster Farms mill supervisor died of injuries suffered when he was buried under five feet of animal feed, the company said Saturday.
(comment: Interesting, didn’t know there was a Delhi in California)
Kevin Southerland, 52, was trying to remove corn stuck on the wall of a 150-foot-tall silo at the Foster Farms feed mill in Delhi on Wednesday when the feed fell on him.
Police officers dug an unconscious Southerland out with their bare hands. He died Friday night at a local hospital, Foster Farms said.
