OSHA Update - Personal Protective Equipment Standards (PPE)

OSHA’s Federal Register reported a final rule on employer-paid personal protective equipment (PPE). This rule clarifies with few exceptions, employers are to supply all PPE at no cost for employees. With this new rule, OSHA estimates 21,000 fewer injuries are expected per year.

2006 - Most Frequently Cited Safety Violations

OSHA has released an updated list of the most cited violations of its safety and health regulations for the fiscal year 2006, which runs from October 2005 through September 2006.
