40-Hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker (HAZWOPER)

    As the foundation for HAZWOPER certification, OSHA requires attendance at a 24- or 40-hour course (or equivalent professional experience). The 40-hour HAZWOPER is designed for those workers who regularly engage in hazardous waste operations. In addition, certain individuals must receive an annual “refresher” training of 8 hours.
