Alabama & Nevada Labor Law Posters are currently on hold due to upcoming regulatory changes.
Alabama Department of Labor is updating and adding content to its labor law poster due to the passage of House Bill (HB 144). Known as the Child Labor Reform Act, the bill will require posters to reflect the provisions of the new bill. AL State and All-in-One (Combo) Labor Law Posters are expected to be on hold until the anticipated release date in December 2009.
Nevada has changed the minimum wage to increase July 1, 2009. The current minimum wage of $5.30 per hour will be changed to $6.55 (if employers provide health benefits) and the current minimum wage of $6.33 will change to $7.55 per hour (for employers that do not offer health benefits.) A poster release date has not been issued yet.
