OSHA Announces Targeted Inspection Plan for 2006 Agency targets about 4,250 high-hazard worksite

WASHINGTON — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced today that its 2006 site-specific targeting (SST) plan will focus on approximately 4,250 high-hazard worksites in its primary list for unannounced comprehensive inspections over the coming year.

Conway Contractor fined for Cave-In Hazard

OSHA Extends Alliance with ASSE

OSHA (U. S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration) has formally extended its alliance with ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers) for an additional two years.
One of the goals of the alliance is for local ASSE chapters to establish partnerships with local OSHA offices.
